For my Cross-Cultural Communication course, I learned that language isn't always about speaking. Sometimes, it's about pausing, feeling, and listening. My first assignment was a four-week diary reflecting on the emotion "speechlessness", where I explored the awkward silences, cultural misfires, and deeply human moments when words simply weren't enough.

The second was a group screenplay titled "Three Voices, One Song", a short film rooted in women empowerment and unity across cultures. This script became a creative space where multiple identities harmonised, despite their differences, to tell one strong and meaningful story.

Both pieces made me reflect on how we communicate beyond words, through silence, action and shared purpose.
