In this group research paper for Introduction to Communication Research, my team and I collaborated with Inari, a renowned engineering organisation in Penang, to explore internal communication dynamics within a highly technical field. As the designated researcher for the literature review and methodology, I had the unique challenge of immersing myself in the semiconductor industry, studying key processes, such as wafer processing and Surface Mount Technology (SMT), to better contextualise our topic.

For Chapter 3, I led the quantitative research design, applying snowball sampling and crafting survey instruments using Likert scales. In Chapter 4, I compiled and visualised the collected data into clear, concise tables and interpretations to deliver meaningful insights.

This project was a great blend of technical learning and academic writing, proving that even communication students like me can decode engineering environments when given the chance.
