In my Introduction to Sociology course, my group and I tackled a bold challenge: forecasting the future of society using the STEEP framework (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, and Political) and 5-Scenarios Analysis. Our focus? The dynamic and rapidly evolving South Asian region.

From population shifts and rising tech access to climate pressures and political fluctuations, we mapped out multiple possible futures grounded in real data and social trends. This project trained us to think sociologically and strategically, balancing prediction with analysis, and theory with real-world application.

This assignment sharpened our ability to understand social change not just as something happening now, but as a process unfolding ahead. A great exercise in connecting dots across disciplines, time, and cultures.
